Does it only affect Stories?
Indeed, this is a function that will only allow you to filter the audience of your content for the stories of the application. That is, for those publications that only last 24 hours.
At the moment, the publications (posts) that we make in our account cannot be sent only to a list of people like your best friends on Instagram, so all your followers will be able to see your publications.
How to share stories with my Best Friends?
As we have already said, this function is only valid for Instagram Stories, so it is from this section of the app that you can share content with this group of users selected by you.
You just have to upload the story as if it were public, add stickers, edit the filter, mention whoever you want, adjust the photo, etc. When publishing it, simply click on the Best Friends option, a green circle with a star in the middle.
This same green circle is the same one that you will see in the stories section of other users, thus knowing that that specific user has added you to their list of best friends.
